Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans or more
    3 eggs
    1 heaping Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs, add sugar and syrup.
    Stir in pecans (I use enough to take up mixture).
    Add vanilla and butter.
    Pour in unbaked pie shell and bake until firm at 350\u00b0 for about 40 to 45 minutes.
