Hot Cross Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk, scalded
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 yeast
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
4 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Mix together butter, scalded milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 yeast.
Add eggs, sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and raisins.
Mix together to form soft dough.
Cover, let rise until doubled.
Punch down.
Divide dough and make about 24 rolls, depending on size. Cover and let rise about 1 hour.
Make cross with sharp knife. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven about 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool.
Frost with crosses.
