Gingham Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large carrots
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. instant minced onion
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    dash of nutmeg
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Pare and coarsely grate carrots (about 2 to 2 1/2 cups). Place in saucepan with butter, instant onion and water.
    Cover and cook gently until carrots are tender, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
    Makes 3 to 4 servings.
