Mrs. Loop'S Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. chicken broth
1 can mushroom soup
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
2/3 c. instant rice, uncooked
Preparation

Boil chicken with onion, carrot and celery.
Debone.
Melt butter in skillet.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Cook until bubbly.
Add milk and chicken broth.
Bring to boil.
Boil one minute stirring constantly.
Add chicken, cream of mushroom soup, green pepper and rice.
Stir and pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
