Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 c. butter
2 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
3 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 c. hot water
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Saute mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons butter; remove from pan. Trim fat and bone from steak. Cut into strips.
Melt additional butter (2 tablespoons) in pan. Toss strips of meat in flour. Brown meat in butter. Add salt and bouillon cubes. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 1 1/4 hours. Add mushrooms, onions and sour cream. Heat and serve over noodles or rice. Serves 6.
