Fiesta Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded green cabbage
    2 c. shredded red cabbage
    2 1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shredded carrot
    1/2 c. sliced olives
    1/4 c. green pepper
Preparation
    Cover green and red cabbage with cold water combined with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Let soak 1 hour.
    In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and remaining salt.
    Add drained cabbage, carrot, olives and green pepper; toss lightly. Refrigerate, covered,
    several hours before serving.
