Easy No-Cook Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1/3 c. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 drop food coloring
Preparation
    Thoroughly blend margarine, Karo syrup, salt and extract in large bowl.
    Add sifted powdered sugar; mix with spoon and hands until blended smooth.
    Knead food coloring into mixture.
    Shape into small balls; then flatten with tines of fork on wax paper. Let dry a few hours.
