"Perfect" Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine
4 eggs, separated
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
3 c. plain cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
grated rind of 1 lemon
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Add vanilla, lemon rind and salt.
Blend in sifted dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan for 30 minutes.
