Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, diced
    1 qt. water
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 large can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of Tabasco
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. carrots, finely diced
    1 c. minced onions
    3 cans minced clams and juice
    1 c. finely diced celery
Preparation
    Fry bacon
    and onions until slightly brown.
    Add water, salt, pepper
    and Tabasco.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add tomatoes and simmer 30\tminutes.
    Add
    vegetables
    and\tclams.\tSimmer\t30 minutes to 1 hour.
