Parsnips Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 parsnips, peeled and sliced
    1 pt. milk
    1 Tbsp. fryings, butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook parsnips in a deep pan with milk and fryings.
    Add salt, pepper and sugar.
    Cook until tender; mash like potatoes, put in a greased casserole dish.
    Add a few dots of butter or margarine; sprinkle with a little sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
