Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. solid shortening
2 extra-large eggs
1 Tbsp. lemon extract
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
grated rind of 1 medium lemon
Preparation

Mix until smooth 1 cup sugar, shortening, eggs, milk and lemon extract; add flour, baking powder, salt and lemon rind. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
