Double Crunchers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbeaten egg
    1 c. cornflakes, crushed
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Sift flour with soda and salt; set aside.
    Add both sugars gradually to shortening, creaming well.
    Blend in egg and vanilla. Mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Stir in cornflakes, oats and coconut.
    Shape by teaspoon into balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in flour.
    When cookies are cool, put two cookies together with a good fudge frosting.
