Raisin Filled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. soda
flour

Preparation

Mix ingredients together and add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Roll out dough, cutting to desired size.
Place on cookie sheet and put a spoonful of filling on top.
Cover with another cookie; seal around edges.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until slightly brown.
