Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut up
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 onion, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. ketchup
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Dredge chicken in flour and cook until brown.
    Remove and keep warm.
    Remove 1/2 of shortening.
    Add onion, celery and pepper and brown.
    Then add ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add chicken or pork.
    Put in electric pan or 2-quart baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes if in baking dish.
    Simmer 1 hour if in electric pan.
