Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced yellow squash
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. crushed unsalted saltine crackers
    1 (0.4 oz.) envelope buttermilk Ranch style salad dressing mix
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Cook squash with onion according to directions on squash package, omitting salt.
    Drain well, pressing between paper towels.
    Combine squash mixture, mayonnaise, eggs, crackers, salad dressing mix and cheese in a lightly greased 2-quart shallow casserole dish.
    Combine bread crumbs and butter.
    Sprinkle over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 8.
