German Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 large potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    oil
Preparation
    Grate potatoes (smaller than julienne) and onion very fine. Add 1 egg; mix.
    Add salt, pepper and flour.
    In frying pan, add 1/4 inch oil.
    When oil is hot, add 1 tablespoon mixture to oil and fry until potatoes are brown.
    Turn over and fry other side. Drain on paper towel and taste.
    You may need to add more salt and pepper.
