Cabbage And Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. green cabbage
    1 large (about 28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large clove garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. bread crumbs or 1/3 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. oil or butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. grated or shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In oil or butter, saute pepper, onion and garlic, about 8 minutes.
    Add tomatoes which are cut in pieces together with liquid from tomatoes.
    Simmer 10 minutes (can be done in microwave oven).
    Cook or steam cored cabbage until fairly tender.
    Then chop coarsely.
