Easy Beef Stir Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb sirloin steak, chilled
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 C fat free beef broth
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    6 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 C hot cooked long grain rice
Preparation
    Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Saute garlic for 30 seconds. Add beef, cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soy sauce. Stir together beef broth and cornstarch until smooth. Add to beef, and cook 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly. Add green onion. Serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
