Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe

1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
24 oz. (total) Mozzarella or Scamorze and Monterey Jack cheese
jalapenos or chili peppers, finely chopped*
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Doritos or your favorite dipping chip
