Mock Cabbage Roll Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    medium head cabbage
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    3/4 c. rice
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce or tomato soup
Preparation
    Take medium head of cabbage; cut into 2-inch pieces.
    Parboil in salt water until tender; drain.
    Cook meat.
    Cook rice.
    Saute onion and add parsley.
    Mix together meat, rice, onion and parsley.
    Grease deep casserole.
    Put layer of cabbage, then layer of meat, just enough to cover cabbage.
    Continue to layer until all ingredients are used.
    Pour tomato sauce or soup (diluted with 1/2 can water) over entire casserole.
    Bake covered at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
