Layered Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. diced celery
    1 large green pepper, diced
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 large potatoes, sliced
    1 can cream of celery soup
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, layer 1/2 of onions, celery and peppers.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Top with ground beef. Pour tomato sauce over.
    Top with remaining onions, peppers and celery.
    Salt and pepper.
    Arrange potato slices on top.
    Spread with soup.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Do not stir.
