Crock-Pot Bean Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dried large lima beans
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 large potatoes, cubed in 1/2-inch pieces
    1 can tomatoes (Creole)
    1 medium clove garlic, minced
    1 large can cream of chicken soup
    2 soup cans water
    1 bottle Hormel bacon bits
    2 tsp. Creole seasoning (more or less according to taste)
Preparation
    Wash and drain lima beans.
    Place in large crock-pot.
    Add all the other ingredients; mix well.
    Cook for 4 hours on high, then for 4 hours on medium.
    Serve with cornbread.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
