Pasta With Prosciutto And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    6 oz. Prosciutto, cut into julienne
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. heavy cream
    1 c. cooked peas
    2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. fresh chives
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 1/2 lb. tortellini or 1 lb. fettucini
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add Prosciutto; saute over low heat. Add flour; cook for 3 minutes.
    Slowly add cream; continue cooking until sauce thickens, 5 to 7 minutes.
    Add peas, pepper, Parmesan, chives and parsley.
    Bring to a simmer and keep warm.
    Bring large pot of water to boil; add pasta.
    Cook until tender.
    Drain and toss with sauce.
