Biscuit Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. milk (approximate)
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour.
    Stir in milk, blending with fork just until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonful into broth.
    If preferred, knead on floured surface 10 to 12 strokes; roll 1/2-inch thick and into 6 x 4-inch rectangle.
    Cut into 2-inch squares.
