Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk.
    Fold in raisins and nuts.
    Grease and flour 3 layer cake pans, dividing batter equally in the 3 pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake springs back when touched.
    Spread the filling on top and between layers.
