Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. tart, sliced apples
    3/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put apples in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
    Pour hot water over apples.
    Mix flour and 1/2 cup sugar together.
    Cut in margarine until like a coarse meal.
    Sprinkle over apples and bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.
