Liver Lyonnaise Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sliced liver (beef or pork)
3 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. fat
3 1/2 c. cubed Irish potatoes
1 c. thinly sliced onion
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can celery soup
1/2 c. whole milk
Preparation

Cut liver into small pieces. Blend flour, salt and pepper. Roll liver in flour mixture; brown on all sides in hot fat in heavy skillet. Remove liver from skillet. Fry potatoes and onions in fat left in skillet until lightly browned and potatoes are tender. Alternate liver and potatoes and onion mixture in 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Combine soup, milk, salt and pepper and pour over top. Cover and bake for 40 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven. Serves 6.
