Chrusciki(Twist) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    grated rind of 1/4 lemon
    5 Tbsp. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. brandy, rum or cognac
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 or 2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Stir yolks and sugar until smooth.
    Add sour cream and flavorings.
    Sift; measure and sift flour again with salt.
    Add to first mixture.
    Knead lightly on floured board until firm and smooth enough to roll.
    Chill about 1 hour.
    Roll out thin and cut in 4-inch strips.
    Make a gash in center and pull one end through and fry in deep fat.
