Iowa Sheriff White'S Grandma'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

7 to 8 c. apples, sliced
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter on top

Preparation

Mix lightly and pour into 9-inch pie crust.
Dot with butter. Add top crust.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until apples are cooked and crust is lightly browned, 50 to 60 minutes.
