Peas Country Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans English peas, drained
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp; crumble and set aside.
Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Saute onion and green pepper in drippings until tender.
Add remaining ingredients except bacon. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with bacon.
Serves 6.
