4 c. peeled and sliced apples
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
Preparation

Spread apples evenly in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
Pour water over top.
