Marinated Veggie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large vidalia onion, sliced thin
    4 medium tomatoes, chunked
    2 medium yellow or bell peppers, chopped
    1 medium cucumber, sliced
    2 c broccoli, chopped
    1 c cauliflower, chopped
    1/4 c italian parsley
    1/4 c white wine vinegar
    3/4 c extra virgin olive oil
    2 T sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine first seven ingredients in a glass bowl.
    Combine the last four ingredients mixing well, pour over vegetables and marinate at least 2 hours or overnight.
    If you like you can use your favorite bottled Italian dressing in place of dressing in recipe.
