Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. lean stew meat
    1 large can V-8 juice
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 lb. carrot, sliced
    6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large cubes
Preparation
    Cook stew meat in boiling water, to cover, until tender.
    Add V-8 juice, onion, carrots and potatoes. Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
    Do not overcook.
    Add salt to taste.
