Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 envelope yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation

Stir dry ingredients together.
Blend in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.
Add buttermilk-yeast mixture to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Turn on pastry cloth or board.
Roll or pat to desired thickness.
Cut biscuits.
Dip in melted margarine and place on greased pans.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
