Mom'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 individual sq. saltine crackers, crumbled
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites, adding sugar slowly, until very stiff.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix crumbled crackers and chopped pecans together, then fold into egg whites.
    Pour into a greased glass pie pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Will be light brown.
    Let cool and serve topped with Cool Whip, sprinkled with chopped pecans.
