Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 (12 oz.) jar apricot jam
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, brown sugar and oatmeal.
    Cut in butter until well blended.
    Press 2/3 of mixture in bottom of 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Cover with apricot jam.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Cool slightly; cut into squares.
