Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cinnamon
    1 c. soft shortening/margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together the flour, salt, tartar and soda and stir into first mixture.
    Form dough into 2-inch balls and roll each in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
