Pecan Pie(Two Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. dark Karo syrup (not pancake)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 sticks margarine, melted
    9 eggs, beaten
    1 c. pecan pieces
    10-inch pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well by mixer.
    Put in refrigerator overnight, then place the pecans in bottom of pie shell evenly. Pour filling on top of pecans and let sit for 5 to 8 minutes or until pecans come to the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes. You can keep and use this filling for 2 or 3 weeks by keeping in refrigerator, but mix well before using.
