Chesapeake Bay Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 diced onions
    4 large Idaho potatoes, diced
    1 stick butter
    1 pkg. Pillsbury biscuits (8)
    3 to 4 doz. clams
    2 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil clams in shell.
    Let cool.
    Extract and mince clams. Add chicken broth to clam broth, along with all ingredients, except biscuits; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Drop small pieces of biscuits into broth.
    Cook 15 more minutes.
    Let cool and serve. Serves 6 to 8 people.
