Coconut Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. well drained crushed pineapple
    1 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Stir flour and 1/4 cup sugar together, then cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry blender (or fork).
    Press firmly into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and top with pineapple.
    Combine 1 tablespoon soft butter, 1/2 cup sugar and egg.
    Mix well and add the coconut.
    Blend well and spread over the pineapple.
    Return to oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and cut into squares.
