Persimmon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    ??? tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Cream and combine the first 5 ingredients one at a time, stirring well between each.
    In a second bowl, combine all other ingredients and add it gradually to the first bowl a bit at a time.
    Place dough in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased and floured pan and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 plus minutes.
