Kraut Pork Pinwheel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground lean pork
    2/3 c. cubed bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1 lb. drained sauerkraut
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Combine pork, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper; mix well. Place on a piece of aluminum foil and pat or roll out to approximately 10 x 7-inch rectangle.
    Set aside.
    Combine drained sauerkraut and onion; spread over the meat, then carefully roll up in jelly roll fashion.
    Take the foil and seal in top and ends. Place on cookie tray.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours in moderate oven.
    Slice and serve hot.
