Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 14 light vanilla caramels
    1/4 c. half and half or light cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine caramels, half and half and butter in glass bowl or pie plate.
    Heat on Medium (50%) power of microwave for 30 seconds.
    Stir.
    Continue on Medium power and stir every 30 seconds for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
    Serve warm Caramel Sauce over Oatmeal Pie with ice cream on top.
