Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. mashed, cooked, unsweetened prunes
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt and spices; set aside.
    Put soda in buttermilk.
    Add sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla.
    Add this to the flour mixture and fold in chopped prunes and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set in the middle, about 1 hour.
    Bake in a tube pan or in two loaf pans.
