German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. red new potatoes
1 lb. bacon
5 Tbsp. bacon fryings
3/4 c. vinegar (white)
1/2 c. water
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 rounded tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/8 c. pimentos
1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
-
Cook your potatoes in their skins.
Mix and cook like a gravy everything but the bacon; cook until thickened.
Pour over the sliced potatoes.
Add chopped up bacon.
