Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or oleo (1/2 c.)
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 apples, washed, cored and chopped fine (to measure 3 c.)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream butter gradually.
Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Gradually add to egg mixture.
Stir in apples and nuts. Turn into greased and floured pan (13 x 9-inches).
Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
