Orange Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup
1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
2 c. buttermilk
1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a large saucepan, bring pineapple and syrup to a boil. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin.
Cool to room temperature. Stir in the buttermilk.
Fold in whipped topping and pecans.
Pour into an 8-cup dish.
Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
