Fruit Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 can (about 2 c.) fruit cocktail (juice and fruit)
Preparation
    Mix together and put in a 9 x 9-inch buttered baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar or 1/2 cup chopped nuts over top. Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
