Oreo Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 small Cool Whip
2 c. crushed Oreo cookies
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. almond flavor
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. ground almonds

Preparation

This is a true English tart over 100-years-old from Paula's great grandmother in Essex, England.
Goes well with the English custom of afternoon tea.
