Lazy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cucumbers, sliced thin
    1 c. onion, sliced thin
    1 c. green bell pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients in large plastic bowl; refrigerate for 2 hours (do not drain).
    Add 2 cups sugar; stir well, then add vinegar, celery seed and other ingredients.
    Stir well; keep in fridge.
    Will keep up to 3 months.
    I usually keep them in a gallon glass jar.
    These are delicious!
